Michelle Lewis MSW, LICSW, CT is a licensed clinical social worker. She specializes in grief, loss, and trauma. Over the last thirteen years, she has developed this specialty working at the Morgantown Vet Center. While at the Vet Center, she worked with combat veterans and their families focusing on PTSD, bereavement, military sexual trauma and depression/anxiety.
In addition, her work with the West Virginia Family Grief Center has given her the opportunity to help grieving kids, teens, and families that have experienced a death. Through the Grief Center, she has experience leading grief support groups for kids and adults. Michelle offers clients the opportunity for various counseling techniques to include EMDR, cognitive processing therapy, progressive counting and graphic narratives.
In an effort to make therapy affordable, she offers the Fair Share Program, allowing clients to choose the amount they pay from a preset range. Michelle is excited to bring a mind-body wellness counseling approach to Roman's Acupuncture.
